It is so nice to see spring in Fredericton. The weather has been so nice lately that it is easy to forget how long of a winter we had. The kids love to play in the backyard on the playset and in Noah's jeep. It works out great because we've (Greg) is able to get alot of stuff done around the yard while they happily play close by.

Finger Painting
Noah got a really neat gift from the Harvey's for his birthday. It was a finger painting kit and came with a large frame so that he can display the finished project. He decided that he wanted to work on it Sunday morning which worked out great seeing as I just got done telling Tracey that I haven't been great with doing crafts with the kids lately. Stay tuned for the framed picture when we post pictures of Noah's new big boy room.

The Party
Saturday afternoon we headed to Kingswood for Noah's birthday party. We rented the "fake" ice for an hour and the kids seemed to really enjoy it. Because it is synthetic ice we could all walk around on it without slipping. The kids got tired of skating so decided to play soccer and with the other balls for the rest of their time. We then headed to the party room for pizza and cake. Thanks again to everybody for helping us celebrate Noah's bid day and for all of the great gifts.

Noah Turns 5
Our sweet little man turned 5 years old on April 11th. I can't believe how fast time flies. He is such a great boy and we are very lucky.
Greg asked Noah how he felt being 5 and he said that he "felt old". Just wait until you turn 6 Noah :)
He had a great day which started with being number 1 at daycare. His teacher Joannie made him the crown which he kept on until he went to bed that night. They had cake at daycare and all of the kids made him a card. We picked him up and headed to Boston Pizza with both sets of grandparents for dinner. He liked the look of his brownie but was to full to actually eat it. Greg and I can tell you that it was delicious!
After dinner the famiy came back to our place for the gift opening. Thank you to everyone for all of the great presents. We especially like the one from Auntie Kathleen. He will receive a different craft in the mail every month for the next year. How cool of an idea is that especially for a boy that loves crafts!

Bowling Party at Kingswood
Last weekend Noah was invited to Fallon's bowling birthday party at Kingswood. He goes to daycare with Fallon. He had a great time bowling and long after most of the other kids lost interest be was still going strong. He has been asking to go bowling ever since.
