A few weekends ago we packed the family into the van and went for a drive to Gagetown to take the kids on the very short ferry ride. When we lived in Nelson our good friends Chris and Sharon lived in a community called Glade and we had to take one of these ferry's to thier house. Noah still talks about the Glade Ferry so we thought he would enjoy the one in Gagetown.
The pumpkin decorating kit is the best thing ever! Greg won it at Noah's school's Family Fun Night. The kids had a ball decorating thier pumpkins and there was no mess.

Kya Turns 3
I can't believe our little girl is 3 years old. She is turning into a real girly girl and only wants to wear skirts or dresses these days with her "big socks". She loves lip gloss and jewerely. She makes us smile everyday and we love her so much!We hope you had a great birthday Tico!
Kya had an extended 3rd birthday this year. It started on Thursday when her preschool friends had a party for her and then later that night Grammie and Art brought over their gifts for her since they were going to be away on her actual birthday. Grammie, of course, has her clothed for another year Friday us girls hung out and we went out to dinner with Gramma and Grampa and then they came over afterwards for some cake. Greg made Kya a gorgeous VW Van toybox. She loves it and it looks great up in her room. He worked really hard to get it done for her birthday. Great job Daddy-O!
Sunday we had Kya's birthday party with our friends. We stole the idea of having a pajama/pancake party followed by a craft and cupcakes. Greg cooked up a storm while enjoying his coffee and Bailey's. Kya got alot of great gifts from her friends, a big thank you to everyone!

Rake those leaves!
It seems like the only thing that has been getting done around our house lately is the raking of leaves. Greg and the kids build the pile, Noah and Kya jump in it, Greg cleans it up again and then it gets bagged. The camera is always close by to capture the moment.

Siblings
This is my new favorite picture of Briana in the tub. Briana sleeps with us every night and most nights Greg gets kicked out by Kya anytime after 3am. Noah doesn't usually come into our room but every once in a while he has a bad dream and comes in. The other morning I woke up to having all three kids in my bed. I got up to help get everyone ready for school and preschool and had to take a picture of them. I love it.

Fall Photos
We love the fall. It's hard to take a bad picture this time of year, especially when the models are so darn cute!

The Farm
A few weekends ago we went to a potluck/bonfire out in Stanley (well..almost in Stanley) Greg works with Pete who invited all of CBCL over to thier farm. We packed up the family and off we went. The kids had a ball. There were lots of other kids running around and dogs chasing each other. Ruben was exhausted for the week afterwards. Pete also has two pigs which were a highlight. I think the best part of the evening was watching all of the kids play around in the barn. It looked like so much fun.

An update on Kya
Sine the beginning of September Kya has been to pre-school two morning per week at the YMCA. It's a nice break. She has also decided to give up her afternoon naps which can make the later part of the afternoon challenging. We're finding our way though and it is great being able to spend this time with her.
Kya started a creative movement dance class last weekend and although I don't have any pictures of her class just yet, here are a few of her practicing. I love the arm in the pictures. These little girls with their pony tails and pink bodysuits has got to be one of the cutest things ever!

An Update on Noah
Noah is involved in alot of activities this fall. He has swimming lessons on Monday night and has recently started a pre-hockey program at Kingswood. He is loving it and is doing really well. We decided to enroll him in this program instead to make sure that he likes it before spending all of that money on the youth hockey program that the city offers. This way he can also enroll in Ski School starting in January. These kids definately keep us busy!
Most of the summer he asked to do karate but he lost interest after two classes. The classes were at Liverpool Street school and while he was in class the girls and I would go and play at the playground and he decided he would rather play on the play structure instead. Oh well, at least he tried it.
Noah is doing great in Kindergarten. He comes home with alot of interesting stories.
